God's Earth

Easter

Summary. 

 In the reading that I have read it talks about  Jesus getting crucified to save us from our sins  after
he got crucified he prayed to god and said Father I place
my life in your hands then he died. Then the soldiers put him in a tomb . Three days later an angel
descended from heaven. Wearing clothes as white as snow and appeared as bright as  lightning to
remove the rock from the tomb not to save Jesus but to show everyone that
he had risen from the dead. He went to his friends and they were scared then he showed them
his scars then they believed him and Jesus told them to spread the good news . Then Jesus appeared to
500 people then went back to heaven. But he promised he will come back
to those who follow his footsteps. 

This is our  favorite part because he sacrificed Himself to save us from our sins.

Ki-O-Rahi

Ki-o-Rahi

On monday me and my class went to the field for

Ki-O-Rahi. When we got to the field we had Sit

down then coach shanice, explained what we were

going to do today when she finished telling us what

to do she split us into teams one team was called team

keyoma and team taniwha.

When we all finished splitting into teams we started

the

game two people from, team keyoma Had to stand in

the middle and the Other team taniwha had to throw

the key to the tupu.

And team keyoma have people outside they have to

run and touch the pou and they can run and

touch the pou and give it to there team mate or they

can just be greedy and stay with it and try and score

and team taniwha has, to chase them because they

have the key and if the other team Accidentally

throws it to one person from the other team they run

back and throw it at the tupo.

But first we started with a kick off then we began the

game was fun and then team taniwha Switches to

become team keyoma then when it hit 11:50 we had to

go back to class. The end.

Scenario || Found a 5$

Scenario: I found a $5 note in the playground. What
should I do?

Give it to the teacher.     

I make good choices because I know
God is watching me.

Goat island

On Monday the 24 of February the year 5

and 6s from St Pius school went to Goat island by but, it was a 2 hour drive.

When we got there the tour guide explained to us what

we're going to do on the island.  He told us to grab

everything we had in the bus just in case we got in a different bus going back.

We split into two teams.  My team went with Sophie

down to the water to snorkel.  We swam all the way to Goat Island. We saw a lot of snappers, jellyfish and rainbow fish. I felt scared because I thought the fish were going to bite me.  When we finished snorkelling we swam back to shore.

When we got to shore we had to take off our flippers and swimsuits.  We then went to the changing area to get changed. After that we went and had lunch while the other group went snorkelling.  

After lunch the tour guide took us to look around Goat Island.  We used binoculars to see birds nests inside the trees and cows up on the hill.  We also saw the other group swimming in the sea. We also spotted an electric eel. The guide told us that the eel was from Tonga and that is where the eel lays its eggs.  He then

gave us a book full of different fish and told us to go

find some.

Then after a minute taniela came back to shore then

we went back up then other group had to go and

change then we all checked we had our things ready

then when the bus came we all said goodbye and

thankyou then we went back to school. The end.
